BQFF is an annual event full of queer films from the world over, photo exhibitions, art exhibitions, performances and panel discussions. The festival serves as a space for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) concerns to be voiced through the medium of moving image. At BQFF, we are firmly interested in both straightforward LGBT films and wildly queer and radical films.

As always, the BQFF is a crowd-funded, non-profit, free-entry festival which pushes for maximum participation. The festival has grown to become a much-anticipated fixture in Bangalore’s cultural calendar, with thousands of film and art lovers coming to enjoy good cinema from over two dozen countries, photo exhibits, panel discussions, poetry readings, concerts, theatre performances, and dance.
